مَن يستطيعُ أن يساعدني على حل مشكلتي مع زوجي؟

Qui peut m'aider à résoudre mon problème avec mon mari?

Who can help me solve my problem with my husband?

أبي يريدني أن أكون طبيبة، و أمي تريدني أن أكون صيدلية، و أنا أريد أن أكون مهندسة بناء و مستكشفة

Mon père veut que je sois médecin et ma mère veut que je sois pharmacienne, et je veux être ingénieur en construction et exploratrice.

My father wants me to be a doctor, and my mother wants me to be a pharmacist, and I want to be a construction engineer and an explorer.

أنا أكره الشاي البارد البائت الذي لا مذاق له

Je déteste le thé froid resté de la veille et n'ayant pas de saveur. 

I hate the cold tea left over from the night before and having no flavour.

دراجتي مُعَطلَة و ليس عندي مال و لا وقت لإصلاحِها

Mon vélo est en panne et je n'ai ni argent ni le temps pour le réparer.

My bike is down and I have neither the money nor the time to fix it.

جميع أصدقائي يستمعون للأغاني الغربية و أنا أعشق الأغاني الشرقية القديمة

Tous mes amis écoutent des chansons occidentales, mais moi j'adore les vieilles chansons orientales.

All my friends listen to Western songs, but I love old oriental songs.

جاء رجل لِخِطبة أختي فلما علِمَ أنها لا تتقن الطبخَ ذَهَبَ و لَم يَعُد

Un homme est venu demander ma soeur en mariage, mais quand il a appris qu'elle ne fait pas la cuisine il est parti une fois pour toute.

A man came to propose to my sister, but when he learned that she was not good at cooking, he left once and for all.

في الصباح الباكر من هذا اليوم أُخِذَ ابن جيراننا إلى قسم المستعجلات، و حوالي العاشرة صباحا أتانا خبرُ وَفاتِهِ

Tôt le matin, le fils de nos voisins a été emmené aux urgences. Et vers 10 heures, la nouvelle de sa mort est venue.

Early in the morning, our neighbours' son was taken to the emergency room. And around 10 o'clock, the news of his death came.

أنا حزينة جِدا لِأَن أمي و أبي لا يتوقفان عن الشجار و جميعُ جيراننا يشتكون من صراخهما

Je suis très triste parce que ma mère et mon père n'arrêtent pas de se quereller et tous nos voisins se plaignent de leurs cris.

I am very sad because my mother and my father keep quarreling and all our neighbours complain about their cries.

أنا أُحِب سعاد، و سعاد تحب أشرف، وأشرف لا يحب أحدا

J'aime Souad, et Souad aime Achraf, et Ashraf n'aime personne.

I love Souad, and Souad loves Ashraf, and Ashraf does not love anybody.

قال لي أخي إنه فَقَدَ النقود أثناء سَفَرِهِ فاضطُر إلى سرقة حِذاء و بيعهِ لِيُؤَديَ ثَمَنَ تذكرة العودة إلى المحمدية

Mon frère m'a dit qu'il avait perdu de l'argent au cours du voyage; il a dû voler des chaussures et les vendre pour payer le billet de retour à Mohammédia.

My brother told me that he had lost money during the trip; he had to steal shoes and sell them to pay the return ticket to Mohammedia.
